New in Precoro OCR

Process Up to 15 Invoices for Free with Google AI-Powered OCR

Many customers are already saving time and reducing manual work with the OCR AI Processor. If you haven’t tried our new OCR yet and want to see how it can help your AP team process invoices faster, we've got you covered.

Now, you can try Precoro OCR without paying first:

  • contact your Customer Success Manager to enable the add-on;
  • see how it performs with 15 documents you can process for free.

You will see how we handle different document formats, low-quality scans, and matching invoices to orders. To continue using the feature, you can purchase additional credits anytime.

Conveniently Track OCR Credits

The AP Inbox page (US server link, EU server link) now shows how many documents you can still process. This change helps users stay up-to-date without access to configurations.

Hovering over the tag will show how many documents were processed this month and in total. Users with the Configuration role will also see the Buy More button for quick access to the billing page.

Please note: you will no longer receive an email notification when 10 documents are left for processing in your account. However, you will still be notified about 100, 50, and 0 documents remaining to purchase more on time.

Manage Access to Items Precisely with Updated Module Structure

When managing User Roles, you will notice that the Supplier Management and Item Management roles are now independent. With the more flexible role setup, you can allow users to view and edit items without giving them access to suppliers.

The left-hand sidebar with modules enabled in your company now features new modules instead of Suppliers and Items:

  • Supplier Management
  • Item Management
  • Product Catalog

The Supplier Management module is displayed to:

  • users with any Suppliers role;

  • requesters still have a limited view of the supplier list if the Allow Document Creators to Add New Suppliers setting is enabled in your company;

  • Super Users.

The Item Management module is displayed to:

  • users with any Item Management role;

  • Super Users.

The Product Catalog is a new module that allows users to view all items added to the catalog but not edit them. It helps to see if there is a needed item without creating a new document.

The catalog is displayed to all users without any Item Management roles.

Set Up Thermo Fisher Scientific PunchOut Catalog

This update is for you if you're in charge of purchasing laboratory equipment, research consumables, or healthcare products. Using the new catalog, you can add a PR or PO in Precoro, be redirected to Thermo Fisher Scientific to browse and select your items, and then have this information sent to Precoro for approval and order tracking.

Reduced Loading Time for Document Revisions

As part of our work on speeding up your interactions with Precoro, we focused on optimizing loading Revision History. With this update, you will no longer encounter loading errors when opening document revisions. You will also notice revision pages loading faster for Warehouse Requests, Purchase Requisitions, Requests for Proposals, Purchase Orders, Invoices, Receipts, and Expenses.

Stay tuned for future updates as we continue improving loading times for revisions across all Precoro modules.

Improved Filtering for Invoices Not Sent to QBO, Xero, and NetSuite

You can now view all invoices and credit notes not sent to the integrated platform. To do so, use Filters, find the “Sent to…” filter for the integration, and set the value to No. You will see the complete list of documents regardless of their other statuses.

Meanwhile, the “Not Sent to…” infocard allows you to view all documents you can still send. It filters only invoices that are not sent to the integrated platform and have the Approved status.
