Ensure Accurate Discounts in OCR-Recognized Invoices
We’ve improved the way discounts are added to OCR-recognized documents. Now, you’ll see even more precise totals both for items and documents, with discounts applied according to your company settings.
If the Discounts feature is disabled in Basic Settings → Document Setup → General Settings, the total discount for the document or all items in the document will be added as a Discount item with a negative price.
If the Discounts feature is enabled:
- When the OCR processor recognizes a discount for the entire document, it will be added on a document level in Precoro.
- When discounts are recognized for items, they will be added to the items in Precoro as well.
Ensure Prompt Approval with Approval Review Reminders
To ensure approval reviews are conducted on time, we’ve added a reminder email about the documents awaiting approval review. These emails are sent periodically and provide a list of all documents that require adjustments to the approval workflow. They coexist with the emails sent when a specific document skips the approval process.
To receive these notifications, navigate to the Email Preferences page → Misc section, enable the Notification about Approval Review checkbox, and press Update to save the changes. The Approval Review functionality must be enabled in Configuration → Basic Settings → Approval.
The emails are sent on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at:
- 09:20 a.m. UTC (EU server)
- 05:20 p.m. UTC (US server)
Similar Items Functionality Retirement
As a part of Precoro’s ongoing evolution, we’ve made the decision to discontinue the Similar Items feature. It will no longer be available starting October 23 for the EU server and November 6 for the US server.
Since there won’t be a direct alternative within our platform, we encourage you to review your setup and make any necessary adjustments before support ends.
