Contracts now include a **Supplier Baseline Amount** field for the supplier’s initial offer, and Precoro calculates your savings automatically. Here’s how to track savings in new contracts: 1. Enter the final, negotiated price in Total Gross Amount, as before. 2. The new **Supplier Baseline Amount** field will appear below. Enter the initial amount suggested by the supplier there. 3. Fill out other required fields and save the contract. When viewing and editing contracts, you’ll see the following fields: - Total Gross Amount—the total amount you can edit. - Supplier Baseline Amount—the initially suggested amount; you can correct it as needed. It must be greater than the Total Gross Amount. - Negotiated Savings—automatically calculated difference between initial and final contract amounts. [![Savings](https://help.precoro.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Savings.jpg?width=670&height=315&name=Savings.jpg)](https://help.precoro.com/hubfs/Savings.jpg?hsLang=en) Supplier Baseline Amount is also available in the Contract Revision History report and in custom contract reports. ### Add New Suppliers Automatically from AP Inbox When AP Inbox processes a document from a supplier that isn’t in Precoro yet, it now creates the supplier for you—just as [AI-powered PO creation](https://help.precoro.com/using-ai-document-scanning#supplier-auto-create) already does. From now on, you don’t have to add the supplier manually before the invoice can move forward. You can control automatic supplier creation in AI document processing: go to Configuration → Basic Settings → Document Setup → General settings and enable or disable the **Add New Suppliers During AI Document Processing** checkbox. Set up a [Supplier Approval Workflow](https://help.precoro.com/supplier-approval-functionality?hsLang=en). ### Hand Off Work and Approvals When You Remove a User’s Role Keep the processes running smoothly after removing a Create or Approve role from a user. When you remove a role, Precoro now shows a dialog where you can delegate all responsibilities this user will no longer fulfill. [![Role delegation](https://help.precoro.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Role%20delegation.png?width=670&height=318&name=Role%20delegation.png)](https://help.precoro.com/hubfs/Role%20delegation.png?hsLang=en) - Choose a separate delegate for each item the role covers—documents, suppliers, custom reports, and budgets. - When you remove an approval role, pick a replacement for each approval step the user was part of, or simply remove them from the step. If no one is eligible to take over an item, Precoro lets you know so you can give the right roles to another user first. Additionally, when deactivating or removing a role from a user assigned as default purchaser or invoice creator, you can delegate these responsibilities as well. The new Default Creator Roles section in the delegation window includes the following: - default purchaser for POs auto-created from PRs, - default purchaser in PunchOut documents, - Default invoice creator for AP inbox. ### PunchOut Updates #### Set a Shipping Address in PunchOut Orders PunchOut documents now have their own Shipping Address, separate from Location, so it’s always clear where your supplier is shipping—and that address stays the same from PR to PO. - When you start a PunchOut session, Shipping Address appears right after Location. It’s prefilled from the location’s Shipping Address by default and can be modified right away or later as the document progresses, up until the purchase order is sent to the marketplace - It’s filled in from the location’s address or from the alternative address chosen in the session. If neither is available, enter it yourself—the field is required. - On the created document, edit Shipping Address any time to send the order to a one-time address that isn’t saved as a location. Precoro sends this address to the supplier in PunchOut messages, so the address chosen on the PR is no longer replaced by the PO’s location address. #### Cancel PunchOut PRs Automatically When Their PO Is Canceled When you cancel an approved PO that was created from a PunchOut PR and already sent to the supplier, Precoro now cancels the PR too, so it no longer stays open as Not Ordered. If the PO hasn’t been sent to the supplier yet, or the PR wasn’t created through PunchOut, canceling works as before, and the PR stays Not Ordered. #### See When Amazon Business Confirms or Declines Your Order Know right away whether Amazon Business has accepted your order. Precoro now receives order confirmations from Amazon Business and shows the result next to the supplier name on the PO: - Confirmed: Amazon accepted the whole order as placed, and the PO stays Approved. - Declined: Amazon rejected the order, and Precoro cancels the PO and its PR automatically. In the app, go to Documents → Purchase Orders, and create a service order there. You can also edit service orders, revise them for more substantial changes, and repeat them to order the same service again.
