How to Sync Employees
Overview and Requirements
Precoro users can be matched with corresponding NetSuite employees to ensure accurate representation in the integrated purchase orders. Once synchronized, the matched employee will appear in the integrated PO in NetSuite under the “Requested By” field.
💡Please note: For accurate employee synchronization between systems, the user in Precoro and the employee in NetSuite must have the same email address. Otherwise, the synchronization will not work. This process only matches existing users and employees—no new records will be created in either Precoro or NetSuite.
How to Enable Employee Synchronization
To configure the integration:
- In NetSuite, navigate to Precoro → Configuration → Integrations.
- Go to the Global Settings tab.
- In the Other Settings section, enable the Sync Employee checkbox.
- Click OK to confirm the changes. All existing and every new user in Precoro will be synced with NetSuite.
💡Please note: This action is irreversible.
What Happens After Synchronization
If you send a document from Precoro to NetSuite after successful employee synchronization:
- In NetSuite, the "Employee" field (located in the Primary Information section of the document) will automatically be filled with the name of the matched employee.
- In Precoro, this user is specified in the document’s Purchaser field.
